The "New Media" and "Creative Integration" Super Art and Design Combination
l I-Shou University is the only private university in southern Taiwan
that collaborates with NVIDIA as part of the worldwide famous AI University
initiative, sharing the latest technological advancements to enhance AI
teaching capabilities. Established in 2024, the Department of Visual Arts and
Design brings together a strong faculty team in "New Media Design"
and "Creative Integration Design" to offer diverse courses that
combine visual aesthetics, AI technology, creative thinking, and global
perspectives. Unlike traditional art and design departments, it is particularly
forward-thinking in the integration of technology, skills, and creativity,
cultivating interdisciplinary art and design talents for the AI era.
l The department has partnered with NVIDIA and GIGABYTE to create the
first NVIDIA Studio x GIGABYTE collaborative space, offering cross-disciplinary
courses under the "X+AI" framework. This initiative aligns with the
trends in creative fields, providing strong software and hardware support for
teaching and practical application, and fostering a more diverse range of
artistic and design talents.
